Data Libraries
This course on Specification Type Libraries will help the student design and manage the reusable specifications for use across their organization and to structure their entire data landscape. Structuring data will bring meaning (semantics) to the data, making data interpretable for computers. Structuring data this way sets the stage for automation and allows organizations to gain new insights in data.
Students will be positioned to improve responsiveness within their Systems Engineering teams by making use of and improving the maturity of the library, which will help them capture, share and apply the correct specifications on demand and realize the power of linked data in the organization.
What are the learning outcomes?
Gain the ability to model a Specification Library and share it across projects. Become skilled at translating unstructured documents to structured data.
Knowledge Managers, Engineers, Information Managers and anyone else involved in managing reusable data in groups from 3 to 12.
Starting from € 149 per student per session. Contact us now to customize your programme.
This course requires one workshop to complete. Coursework can be completed at your own pace. For larger groups, longer courses can be tailored to your needs.
Basic understanding of specifications, standards or systems engineering is preferred.
Course handouts include guidelines and best-practices to help you master SPARQL.
You will receive a free trial license for modeling software (Laces) to practice newly acquired querying skills.
