History

The first year

The first years Semmtech serviced large engineering projects with a small team, with a solid background in engineering and information technology. Offering consultancy and support on information architecture, software development and data exchange using mostly third party low-code applications and tools for enterprise architecting.

After growth

After a growth spurt Semmtech started its own software development department to create software products supportive to our consultancy services. This was founded upon the same principles and technologies for semantic modeling and interoperability through Linked Data as are being used currently.

Today

Today we are a small to medium size company with headquarters near Amsterdam and Schiphol Airport and we have a joint venture in Antwerp, Belgium. Our consultancy services have become scalable, our software toolkit extended and our knowledge transferable via our academy.

We envision becoming a key enabler

For sharing and capitalizing smart data and becoming a key IT consultant in the field of data ecosystems. We want to be the next and fresh IT champion, with presence worldwide and within every industry.
